The arrival of Cincinnati Bengals minicamp meant a media meeting with star quarterback Joe Burrow.
Or not.
Burrow apparently missed a media session after practice on Tuesday, as multiple reporters explained on social media.
The reason? According to The Athletic’s Paul Dehner Jr., Burrow stayed late at practice getting extra work with some of his receivers.
Fox 19’s Jeremy Rauch even provided photo evidence:
Big deal? Absolutely not.
Nobody is going to complain about Burrow and his targets getting extra work before summer break. And from the sounds of it, he’ll be right back in front of a mic on Tuesday.
Keep in mind, too, that training camp is right around the corner. The Bengals wrap up this week, take a break, then fully commit to camp next month, with plenty of interview chances there.
