When is trick or treat 2025? Tuscarawas County communities plan Halloween activities

TUSCARAWAS COUNTY ‒ Call it Beggars Night or call it trick or treating. Either way, the Halloween season is almost here, with children throughout Tuscarawas County are looking forward to getting dressed up and heading out in search of candy.

The National Safety Council reminds people preparing for Halloween to choose costumes and accessories that are fire-resistant. It’s best to attach reflective tape to costumes and bags so trick-or-treaters can be seen in the dark. Another suggestion is to opt for nontoxic makeup instead of masks, which can obscure a child’s vision.
