Along with the rest of college football, Ohio State will find out its ranking in the College Football Playoff on Nov. 4.
The Buckeyes (8-0) are coming off a win over Penn State, taking down the Nittany Lions 38-14 on Nov. 1. Quarterback Julian Sayin continued his Heisman campaign run, completing 20 of 23 passes for 316 yards and four touchdowns. His top receiver, Jeremiah Smith, had six catches for 123 yards and two touchdowns, including a circus catch in the fourth quarter that showed off his elite playmaking ability.
Ohio State also snagged a win over Jim Knowles, the former Ohio State defensive coordinator who took the Penn State coordinator position after helping win the 2024 national championship.
Ohio State will hit the road to face Purdue on Nov. 8 at 1 p.m.
