What to know about Akron Comicon 2025, set to be held in Cuyahoga Falls this fall

Akron Comicon is coming this fall to Greater Akron.

For Summit County comic book lovers, this means an opportunity to mingle with some celebrities and also get an autograph or a photo with a beloved actor or artist.

Here’s what we know about the annual comic celebration, including ticket prices and celebrity appearances.

Where is Akron Comicon?

This year’s Akron Comicon is at Emidio’s Expo Center, which is located at 48 E. Bath Road in Cuyahoga Falls.

Parking for the event is free and there are more than 450 spaces on site.

Overflow parking will be available if needed at Keyser Park, which is half a mile away from the venue. There will be shuttle service to the event if overflow parking is needed.

When is Akron Comicon?

Akron Comicon will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8 and Sunday, Nov. 9.

It is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

How much does it cost to attend Akron Comicon?

A one-day ticket to Akron Comicon costs $15 and $25 for a two-day ticket. A kid’s ticket is $5 for one day and $10 for two days. One child age 10 and under is free with each paid admission.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.

Who is appearing at Akron Comicon?

This year’s Akron Comicon will feature a number of actors, artists and writers.

The highlights include “Lost in Space” actress Marta Kristen and the voice of Peppermint Patty, actress Patricia Patts.

Artist Steve Geiger, who drew the covers of works including the Incredible Hulk and Spider-Man, along with actor Larry Hankin, who appeared in “Escape from Alcatraz” and “Breaking Bad,” are also slated to attend this year’s Comicon.
