Want to ride Siren's Curse at Cedar Point before the coaster officially opens? Here's how

Cedar Point is getting ready to release its curse.

The Sandusky, Ohio, amusement park’s newest roller coaster, Siren’s Curse, will open to the public on Saturday, June 28. But some park-goers will have the chance to ride it early.

And if you want early access, there’s still time to get a season pass. Here’s what to know.

Cedar Point offers early Siren’s Curse access on June 27

Cedar Point is offering exclusive early access to Siren’s Curse from 2–10 p.m. Friday, June 27, for season passholders. According to a recent post on Cedar Point’s Facebook page, the offer is valid for all season passes — summer, gold, prestige and all-park passport.

How much do season passes to Cedar Point cost?

Cedar Point offers several levels of season passes.

The cheapest at $120 (online price, subject to change) is the summer pass. It offers unlimited admission and free parking through Labor Day, along with discounts and other extras, but excludes Halloweekends and Cedar Point Shores admission.

Next is the gold pass at $160. It includes everything the summer pass offers plus Halloweekends and Cedar Point Shores and extends for the entire 2025 season.

The prestige pass is $375. This pass takes all the benefits of the gold pass and adds preferred parking, VIP lounge access and preferred perks.

An all-park passport is an add-on for gold and prestige passholders that grants access to all Six Flags parks, including legacy Cedar Fair ones like Cedar Point and Kings Island. Six Flags and Cedar Fair merged in 2024.

When does Siren’s Curse open at Cedar Point?

Cedar Point’s newest coaster will open to the public on Saturday, June 28. The theme park has been testing it for weeks now, though the tilt feature made some on social media leery.

All about Siren’s Curse, Cedar Point’s new record-breaking ’tilt’ roller coaster

The newest addition to the Sandusky theme park is billed as the tallest, fastest and longest “tilt” roller coaster in America, the Akron Beacon Journal previously reported. The name “Siren’s Curse” comes from the mythical sirens who reside in Lake Erie and lure sailors with their singing.

After riders ascend the 160-foot lift hill, they stop on the edge of a piece of “broken” track. Suddenly, that piece of track tilts 90 degrees, connecting to more track below before sending riders straight down.

In all, riders travel 2,966 feet of track at a top speed of 58 mph. The ride features 13 instances of weightlessness (called airtime moments) along with two 360-degree, zero-gravity barrel rolls and a high-speed “triple-down” element with twisted and overbanked track.
