A 22-year-old Wooster man died Tuesday morning in a three-vehicle crash in Wadsworth.
Jaden Flinders was taken to Wadsworth Rittman Hospital where he died from his injuries, according to a news release from the Medina Post of the State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at 6:50 a.m. when Flinders, who was driving a Dodge Neon, and a Ford Mustang driven by an 18-year-old Wadsworth man, were traveling southbound on state Route 94. The Neon was traveling at a high rate of speed, according to the report, and struck the rear of the Mustang, which went off the right side of the road and struck a pole.
Flinders’ vehicle went left of center and struck a northbound Ford F-250 head-on, according to the report.
The man driving the Mustang was transported by Wadsworth EMS to Akron General Hospital. The 37-year-old Dundee man driving the F-250 suffered minor injuries, but was not transported from the scene, according to the patrol.
Troopers were assisted on scene by Wadsworth Police Department, Lloyd’s Towing and Wadsworth Power.
The crash remains under investigation.
