Ohio is known for its miles of corn, national park and eye-catching signage.
It’s looking like ice cream may be yet another claim to fame for the Buckeye State.

Last year, Ohio’s statewide ice cream trail grew from 15 to dozens of stores.
This summer, TourismOhio, overseen by Ohio’s Department of Development, once again updated the creamy catalog, which now has a total of 150 ice cream shops to explore.
It includes Village Creamery & Grill in Shreve and Velvet View Farmstead Yogart in Big Prairie.
Of the state’s five regions, its northeast sector harbors the second-most ice cream shops on the map at 41.
Use this printable copy of the trail to visit these ice cream parlors. It’s important to note that some, such as Handel’s, have more than one location.
