One man is dead and police are searching for a suspect after a shooting at a Buckeye Lake bar late Friday, July 11.
According to the Licking County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a shooting around 11:52 p.m. to Louie’s Corner House bar at the 11100 block of Hebron Road in Buckeye Lake.
Upon arrival, deputies found a deceased male with an apparent gunshot wound, according to the sheriff’s office. Police have not identified the victim.
Detectives were called to the scene to interview witnesses and process evidence.
As a result of the investigation, detectives are searching for 59-year-old Richard Lingren in connection with the fatal shooting. The sheriff’s office would not say whether Lingren was suspected of homicide.
Lingren is considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen driving a cream-colored 2011 Buick Lucerne bearing Ohio license plate HRT6785.
