Cincinnati Police have released a photo of a person of interest in connection with the homicide of Chrishonda Wynn.
Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying the man. Anyone with information can call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040 or the Criminal Investigation Section at 513-352-3542.
Wynn died after a shooting on the 1600 block of Republic Street in Over-the-Rhine the evening of Aug. 6.
Sgt. Phil Buccino of the Cincinnati Police Department said Wynn was an “innocent bystander” and not the intended target of the shooting. He added that she was shot by a gunman firing 15 to 20 rounds from a vehicle.
Wynn was a mother of five, and a beloved friend, aunt, sister, and daughter.
Wynn’s Family has started a GoFundMe for Wynn’s funeral expenses and to support her children and family.
Shawntelle Heath, a friend of Wynn’s, told The Enquirer that Wynn was a devoted mother and a “granny’s girl” and that she “embodied the transformative power of compassion, inspiring countless lives with her extraordinary caregiving spirit.”
