Columbus police are investigating after one person died in a crash between a tractor-trailer and another vehicle Sept. 15 on State Route 104 on the city’s South Side, police said.
Columbus police dispatch said the vehicles crashed just after 9:30 a.m. on Route 104 westbound just west of Haul Road. One person was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:41 a.m., dispatch said.
State Route 104 westbound was closed to trafffic until about 12:45 p.m., the dispatch center reported.
The Division of Police Accident Investigation Unit is handling the investigation and no other information was immediately available. The identity of the deceased will be released by authorities following notification of family.

Columbus police have also announced that a man seriously injured in a Sept. 1 crash has since died.
Just before 10 a.m. Sept. 1, a pickup truck northbound on South Hamilton Road just south of Winchester Pike struck Maissa Hamadi Samb, 63, police said Sept. 13 in an updated news release.
Samb appeared to be on his hands and knees in the street before he was hit, police said.
Samb died Sept. 3 at Mount Carmel East Hospital, police said in the Sept. 13 news release.
The pickup truck driver remained at the scene, and police are investigating the crash.
