Just like his big brother, Ohio State five-star wide receiver commit Jett Harrison has signed an NIL deal with New Balance. The apparel company, with which his older brother, former Buckeye superstar receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., is also inked, announced the deal on Wednesday.
Unless he decides to reclassify, Jett still has two years remaining in his high school career. He quickly rose up the recruiting rankings once because of a fantastic sophomore campaign in which he hauled in 51 catches for 811 yards and ten touchdowns for St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It’s the same school that older brother Marvin and former Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord starred at as well. Both Harrisons are sons of NFL Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison.
New Balance is likely hedging its bets that Jett will become a household name once he gets to college and beyond by locking him in early. And with the pedigree and results we’ve seen so far in the family, it’s a pretty safe bet.
As it stands, Jett is ranked as the No. 2 wide receiver and fourth overall prospect in the 2028 class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He is the highest-rated commitment that’s a part of a four-member class that is still in the early stages for the Buckeyes, but one we’ll continue to watch closely.
