IKEA is opening a third store in Ohio, and this one will mean a shorter drive for customers in Northeast Ohio and beyond.
The Swedish furniture and design retailer will open its newest location in the Cleveland suburb of Westlake at Crocker Park, the shopping, dining and entertainment complex, announced July 28. The new store will feature Ikea’s small-format concept.

IKEA to open small format store at Crocker Park in Westlake
The Ikea at Crocker Park will occupy about 80,000 square feet in the former Dick’s Sporting Goods building. By comparison, Ikea’s store in Columbus is a 354,000 square-foot building on 33 acres.
“IKEA isn’t simply another retailer—it’s a destination that will draw visitors from across the Midwest, strengthen our regional economy, and further establish Crocker Park as one of the nation’s premier mixed-use destinations,” said Ezra Stark, CEO of Stark Enterprises.
Ohio’s newest IKEA will be situated near the Vine Street and Main Street parking garages at Crocker Park, adjacent to the current DSW and Sandbox VR storefronts.
“We had a very short list of ‘best-in-class’ retailers we believed could truly transform this key anchor location, and IKEA was our number one choice,” Lidia Saluan Richani, executive vice president of leasing for Stark Enterprises, which owns Crocker Park, said in a statement. “We are thrilled to welcome one of the world’s most recognized home furnishing brands to Crocker Park.”
When will the Ikea in Northeast Ohio open?
The store is expected to open in spring 2027, according to Crocker Park.
Will the new Ikea serve Swedish meatballs, other food?
Yes. According to Crocker Park, the store will have its “beloved Swedish food offerings.”
What is Crocker Park, owned by Stark Enterprises?
Crocker Park is a mixed-use complex offering shops, restaurants, entertainment as well as apartments and office space. It covers about 20 city blocks in Westlake, according to its website.
