Meet Harley, the Star's Pet of the Week

Meet Harley: This week’s adoptable dog from the Marion County Dog Pound.

Harley is a two-year-old shepherd and pit bull mix. He’s been struggling in shelter life and is looking for someone to take him home.

Harley’s a ball of energy and has so much love to give. He’s certainly an attention seeker and is happiest when he’s with his people. While he can be shy around new people, once you’ve entered his circle, you’re good to go.

Harley could use some basic training and doesn’t really enjoy being alone. He’s open to meeting other dogs and kids, so come see if Harley is the dog for you.

To meet Harley or any of the other dogs at the Marion County Dog Pound, stop by in person at 2252 Richland Road or give the pound a call at 740-386-6150. The pound is open 12-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 12-4 p.m. Saturdays.
