Another local brewery has fizzled out.
MadCap Brew Co. at 1422 Mogadore Road in Kent announced on Facebook that it will close on July 6, following the likes of Akronym, Hop Tree and R. Shea, among others.
MadCap President Ryan Holmes could not be immediately reached by phone to discuss the planned closing.
LeeAngelo’s, a pizzeria and restaurant, has a location inside the brewery. Rosario Gonzales, operator of the Kent LeeAngelo’s store, said the Mogadore Road property changed hands and the tenants must be out by mid-July.
LeeAngelo’s, which also has a location in Aurora, will move its Kent location less than a mile to the plaza where Kent Plaza Cinemas is located, Gonzales said.
