Looking for Easter events in Coshocton County? Check our list

Easter-related events are already being planned in the community. Here’s an early look at what’s going on.

Breakfast and Easter Bunny at Grace United

The third annual breakfast and Easter Bunny event by Grace United Methodist Church will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. March 28, at Coshocton Presbyterian Church, 142 N. Fourth St. It’s for youth in preschool to sixth grade and includes a pancake and sausage breakfast, Easter crafts and games, a visit from the Easter Bunny with pictures, drawings for four Easter baskets and treat bags. For more information, call the church office at 740-622-1302.

Easter buffets for Elk members

Brunch with the Easter Bunny will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 28, at Coshocton Elks Lodge 376, 434 Chestnut St. An Easter buffet will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 5, at Coshocton Elks Lodge 376, 434 Chestnut St. Reservations for either events can be made by calling 740-622-0794. For members and their families.

Prairie Chapel plans special service, Easter egg hunt

Prairie Chapel Methodist Church will have a Maundy Thursday observance at 7 p.m. April 2 with a special Communion service and gathering at the Table of the Lord in small groups. Easter egg hunt with lunch following at 11:30 a.m. April 4. Sunrise Easter service at 6:45 a.m. April 5, followed by breakfast at 7:15 a.m. and resurrection celebration at 10:30 a.m. The church is located at 45494 County Road 23.

Crossroads Church’s helicopter egg drop

Holiday services will be at 9 and 10:30 a.m. April 5, at Crossroads Baptist Church, 23247 County Road 621. There will be special music, activities for children and an egg drop from a helicopter. Pre-regster for the egg drop by going online to ohiocrossroads.org/easter.

Easter-themed women’s redemption luncheon

Bluey Sky Voice and Opportunity will partner with Slater Family Farm Outreach for an Easter-themed women’s redemption luncheon at noon April 4, at Slater Family Farm, 17421 Township Road 278. The event is for those in recovery and their families. There will be interaction with farm animals, games, an Easter egg hunt and a roasted hot dog lunch. Due to limited parking, carpooling will start at 11:30 a.m. at the Coshocton Community Center, 201 Browns Lane.

Legion Easter party for members

American Legion Post 65 will have an Easter party for members and their families from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 4 at the legion hall, 652 Main St. Event includes an egg hunt for ages 2 to 10 and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
