Cincinnati Reds pitcher Andrew Abbott made a splash with his outfit at the MLB All-Star Game red carpet in Atlanta on July 15. The third-year player was joined by a local news anchor – WLWT’s Lindsay Stone.
Stone has been an anchor/reporter at Channel 5 since 2023.
She was treated to an impressive inning of work by Abbott. The lefty retired all three batters he faced in a scoreless sixth inning in the All-Star Game.
The Reds return from the All-Star break with a three-game series at the New York Mets starting on July 18 and return to Great American Ball Park to host the Tampa Bay Rays in a three-game series on July 25.
