Kent State graduate Corey Conners will play the weekend at The Masters.
Conners made the cut at Augusta National, tied for 47th place at 4 over despite bogeys on the final two holes on Day 2. He shot 75 in his opening round April 9, followed by a 73 Friday.
Conners was tied with seven other golfers at 4 over, the cut score.
This is Conners’ ninth appearance at The Masters, where he has finished in the top 10 four of the last six years. His best finish at the Masters was a tie for sixth in 2022.
Defending Masters champion Rory McIlroy has a six-stroke lead on the field at 12 under after shooting a 65 April 10.
