Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco continues to battle an injury that looms over his team’s Week 12 game against the New England Patriots.
Flacco played through an AC joint sprain in his throwing arm before the bye, then did so again last week during the loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Now, Flacco’s status remains a talking point all week ahead of the game against the Patriots.

Joe Flacco injury fallout
While many things went into it, the fact Flacco mustered just 199 passing yards against the Steelers and didn’t seem to look right after the big hit says it all. The game prior, he had thrown for 470 yards and four scores. That showing in Pittsburgh included a pick-six.

Browning would be first man up if Flacco can’t play, then Clifford. Burrow has his 21-day return window opened, but this week was never a realistic target.
