Tuesday, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor provided further details, stating that Burton reported a swelling issue during the team’s Week 1 preseason game and will be on a rehab field during practice.

Burton missed practice on Sunday and the team said it was injury-related. Burton himself then issued a statement on social media after speculation ran rampant about the possible reasons for his absence, anyway.

Now, the Bengals have provided a little more clarity on the subject and things can perhaps go back to normal around one of the more promising players on the roster right now.
