Thousands of users are reporting issues with X, formerly Twitter
Problems with social media service owned by Elon Musk began at 8:08 a.m. and swelled to nearly 42,000 reports by 8:38 a.m., according to Downdetector, which tracks internet outages based on user submissions. Reports fell to nearly 36,000 by 8:53 a.m., the most recent data available on the site.
According to Downdetector, 53% are reporting issues with the app, 21% have issues with the feed and 17% has problems with the website.
According to media reports, there has been no confirmation from X about the issue.
