Gizmo is a female shepherd-retriever mix whom Humane Society staff estimates to be about one year old. She, along with her sister, was surrendered Nov. 4 when her owner passed away and no one in the family could keep her.

Gizmo is a super-sweet little girl. She is very friendly and affectionate. Gizmo is a lap dog who loves giving out kisses. She has a lot of energy and she loves to chase balls, which she will not bring back. Gizmo has lived with another dog and they did great together. She also enjoys the company of children and cats.

Sterling is a kitten looking for a home

Sterling is a five-month-old male kitten. He and his siblings were brought into the shelter Oct. 16 as a stray and he was never reclaimed. Sterling is a very sweet boy who really enjoys being held and loved on. He is friendly and he loves playing with his toys. Sterling just saw one of his brothers get adopted and he is hoping he gets his forever home soon, too.

Call 419-562-9149 with any questions about Gizmo or Sterling, or come out and visit with them.
