A beloved Cincinnati-area bakery is set to close one of its four locations.
Holtman’s Donut Shop, which first opened its doors in 1960, announced on July 5 that they will be shutting down their Oakley location on Sunday, July 13, in a Facebook post.
“We’ve absolutely loved being part of this neighborhood our team here has been incredible, and the relationships we’ve built with so many of you have meant the world to us,” the business wrote. “But like so many small businesses right now, we’ve felt the weight of change in our industry.”
Holtman’s locations in Loveland, West Chester and Williamsburg will remain open, and the donut shop says they plan to possibly reopen an Oakley store in the future.
“We’re hoping to find a smaller space in the future, one that fits the rhythm of life a bit better. But for now, it’s time to say goodbye to Oakley with full hearts and deep gratitude.” Holtman’s wrote.
