Highlights of what's to come Sept. 28-29 at the Coshocton County Fair

COSHOCTON − The 174th annual Coshocton County Fair will be from Sept. 26 to Oct. 2 at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds, 707 Kenilworth Ave.

Daily admission is $15 with ages 2 and younger free. Admission includes all grandstand events and rides. There is parking, including handicapped parking, available at the fairgrounds.

Here’s are some of the highlights fairgoers can expect:

Sunday, Sept. 288 a.m. – Junior fair llama show at Hunter Arena. Pony pull at grandstand.

9 a.m. – Open class beef show at the dairy barn arena. Open class llama show at Hunter Arena.

1 p.m. – Cat and small animal show at junior fair arena.

2 p.m. – Market hog show at Hunter Arena.

3 p.m. – Dog show at junior fair arena.

7 p.m. – Bullmania rodeo at grandstand.Monday, Sept. 29

9 a.m. – Dairy show at dairy barn arena. Open class sheep show at sheep arena. Open class dairy show at dairy barn arena.

10 a.m. – Open draft horse and pony hitch show at the outdoor arena. Pie and specialty cake contest judging at art hall.

11 a.m. – Rabbit show at the junior fair arena.

12:30 p.m. – Beef breeding show, feeder calf and market beef show at Hunter Arena.

2 p.m. – Open goat show at sheep arena.

4 p.m. – Harness racing at the grandstand.

5:30 p.m. – Pie and cake auction at youth building.

8 p.m. – Inaugural wiener dog racing at the grandstand.
