A man has been arrested and charged in connection to the death of a 69-year-old man in Green Township.
Elijah Ray McCulloch, 23, is facing an aggravated homicide charge after Green Township police were called to a home on the 6200 block of Sharlene Court for a report of a death May 15, according to police.
When police arrived, an investigation revealed McCulloch had left the home. This prompted lockdowns at Oak Hill High School and J.F. Dulles Elementary School, Enquirer media partner Fox19 reported.
With the help of a Cheviot police dog, officers found McCulloch in a wooded area less than a mile away from the crime scene. Police arrested McCulloch after collecting evidence and conducting interviews.
McCulloch is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
Police have not yet released the identity of the man who died.
