MASON − The Cincinnati Open has a Wimbledon feel on Wednesday, Aug. 19 with the entire Round of 16 on tap from the Lindner Family Tennis Center.
A nod to Wimbledon’s “Manic Monday,” which ended in 2021, the Cincinnati Open has eight ATP and WTA fourth-round matches scheduled for the same day as some of the game’s top stars fight for a spot in the quarterfinals.
In the day session, top-seeded Alexander Zverev will face American Tommy Paul in the second match on Center Court. Two other former Cincinnati Open champions will play early with Iga Swiatek facing Diane Parry on Grandstand at 11 a.m. and Coco Gauff challenging Marie Bouzkova on the third match on Center Court.
The evening session featured the top-ranked American player remaining in Taylor Fritz against qualifier Christopher O’Connell. World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka will face Sara Bejlek in Wednesday’s final match on Center Court.

Five former Cincinnati Open champions will play on Wednesday
Five former Cincinnati Open champions will look to advance to the quarterfinals on Wednesday. It starts with Iga Swiatek, who currently leads the unseeded Diane Parry, 2-1, in the first set on Grandstand. Later in the day session, ATP No. 1 seed Alexander Zverev (2021 champion) and Coco Gauff (2023 champion) will play in the Round of 16.
The night session features World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka (2024 champion) on Center Court against Sara Bejlek and No. 20 seed Madison Keys (2019 champion) against qualifier Xiyu Wang.

The day session begins on Center Court with ATP No. 7 seed Flavio Cobolli, of Italy, against ATP No. 12 seed Rafael Jodar, of Spain.
