Two Cincinnati area men, one of whom is the father of actress Skai Jackson’s son, have been indicted on burglary charges after Colerain police say a home was forcibly entered with $10,000 worth of items reported missing.
Colerain police responded to a 911 call June 4 for a residential burglary in the 9900 block of Weik Road in Colerain Township, according to a statement from the township spokeswoman.
Police say the homeowner reported that he left the residence to run errands for a short time. When he returned, he discovered his residence had been forcibly entered. The total loss is estimated to be over $10,000, with money, jewelry, and firearms reported stolen.
Deondre Burgin, 21, was booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center on July 17 in connection with a West Price Hill robbery that happened June 21. Burgin was arrested in connection with the June 4 burglary on July 20.
He and Jackson have a son together and share a volatile history: Jackson filed a temporary restraining order against Burgin in May, accusing him of physically attacking her on Mother’s Day.
Jackson is a former child star on the Disney Channel, well-known for her roles in “Jessie” and “Bunk’d.”
Danzail Farrier, 29, was arrested July 17. He had been out on parole since March for a weapons offense. His arrest for the June 4 robbery violated his parole agreement. Police say he will also face a charge for violation of parole.
According to court documents, Burgin and Farrier are both scheduled for arraignment in Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas on Aug. 1.
