CHILLICOTHE— This summer, when you are out mowing, the last thing you want is for a breakdown to stop your work, leaving you with a half-mowed lawn.
That is where Chillicothe’s newest outdoor equipment store comes in. Jack’s Equipment Co. sells mowers, tractors and other outdoor equipment.
This is owner Jack Hutchinson’s second store, the first being located in Greenfield. He said that the store has always gotten customers from Chillicothe, so when it came time to expand, he knew where he needed to go.
“Chillicothe has always been good to me,” said Hutchinson. “I felt like we needed to come here to support the community.”
Jack’s Equipment Co. specializes in zero-turn mowers from Bad Boy and Scag for residential and commercial use. The store also carries compact tractors, smaller tools like push mowers and edgers and more. Hutchinson is confident in these manufacturers and the products they create.
In addition to selling the equipment you need, Jack and his family will service tools, even ones they didn’t sell. He said he would rather fix up a mower and keep it running for a few more years than try to sell you a brand new one if you don’t need it.
Jack’s Equipment Co. is located at 81 Executive Center Drive in Chillicothe. The store is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
