COSHOCTON − Early voting has begun in Coshocton County for the Nov. 4 general election.
Residents can cast their votes in person at the Coshocton County Board of Elections office at 724 S. Seventh St., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
Extended voting hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 27 and Oct. 29-31, and 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 28. Weekend voting is also an option, with the office open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 1 and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Nov. 2.
Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day. Residents can also find their polling locations on the board of elections website.
Absentee voting
Absentee voting is another option for residents.
Applications can be obtained at the Board of Elections office or at VoteOhio.gov. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Oct. 28. Absentee ballots returned in person must be delivered to the Board of Elections office by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day. Ballots can be returned by mail and must be postmarked by the day before Election Day and received by the fourth day after Election Day. Applications submitted via email or fax will not be accepted or processed.
In-person absentee voting ends at 5 p.m. Nov. 2.
