Congratulations to Prescott Horvath, a senior from Mishawaka Marian High School, for winning the South Bend Tribune Preseason Boys Basketball Player of the Year poll. Horvath received 17,161 of 36,085 total votes, or 47.56% of the poll.
South Bend Saint Joseph senior Nick Shrewsberry finished in second with 8,967 total votes.
