A crash involving two semi-trucks and a passenger vehicle has shut down part of Interstate 71 near Polaris Parkway in Delaware County.
The crash happened just before 10 a.m. on northbound I-71 beyond Polaris Parkway/Gemini Place, according to OHGO, the Ohio Department of Transportation’s live traffic tool.
All northbound lanes remain closed, while motorists traveling southbound should also expect lane closures beyond the Delaware County Rest Area, according to OHGO.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Delaware Post said the crash involved two semi-trucks and one passenger vehicle. Minor injuries resulted from the crash.
Officials said the highway is expected to remain closed for an extended period while crews investigate the crash and clear the scene.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
