If what this Ohio State football legend is saying is true, fans in Columbus will have many reasons to be excited.
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver and former Ohio State Buckeye Marvin Harrison Jr. supplied striking praise for his younger brother, Buckeye 2028 five-star wide receiver commit Jett Harrison.
“I’ve always said before, Jett is a lot more talented that I ever was at that age,” Harrison told Rivals.
That sort of compliment is notable because the elder Harrison brother was not just one of the best wide receivers at Ohio State but one of the top in the entire country when he played. The former Buckeye finished his three-year Ohio State career with 155 receptions for 2,613 yards and 31 touchdowns. He ranked sixth in program history in catches and receiving yards while placing third in touchdown receptions.
He capped off his career with back-to-back All-America honors and developed himself into the No. 4 overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Fair to say those are high expectations to present to the younger Harrison, but he has shown glimpses of being able to live up to them. Rivals scouting director Charles Power described Jett Harrison as “a dominant young receiver with an elite combination of ball skills and route-running ability.”
Jett Harrison is still a couple high school seasons away from showing up to Columbus but already it appears that Ryan Day and Ohio State may have secured another star wideout.
