The Cincinnati Reds shared video of Reds manager Terry Francona addressing the team during its celebration after clinching a National League wild card with the New York Mets’ loss to the Marlins in Miami.
“Everybody in this room!” Francona said. “Everybody in this room! We have been through more (expletive). And they can’t (expletive) kill us!”
The Reds are scheduled to face the Dodgers in Los Angeles in a National League wild-card series, starting Tuesday, Sept. 30.
The Reds’ celebration came 15 years to the day after Jay Bruce hit a walk-off home run to clinch a division title for Cincinnati.
