BEREA — The Browns still active in moving in the NFL draft.

It’s the fifth trade the Browns have made since the draft began, and second in the fifth round Cleveland started the wheeling and dealing when it sent pick No. 6 to the Chiefs for No. 9, No. 74 in the third round and No 148 in the fifth round.

On day 2, the Browns traded up with the San Francisco 49ers to pick No. 58 in the second round, where they selected Toledo safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren. They gave up picks No. 70 and No. 107, while also receiving pick No. 152. They also traded pick No. 74 to the New York Giants in exchange for pick No. 105, which is in this deal. The Browns will received pick No. 145, another piece traded, and a 2027 fourth-rounder from the Giants.

The fourth trade, and third of day 2, saw the Browns trade up to pick No. 86 to the Los Angeles Chargers in exchange for pick No. 105 in the fourth round, and Cleveland took Florida offensive tackle Austin Barber. The Browns will give the Chargers pick No. 145 in the fifth round and No. 206 in the sixth round in the deal.

Browns trade down from pick No. 152 with Denver Broncos draft grade: Instant reaction

Grade: B

Why: Again, excess picks leads to a move back for Cleveland. Yes, the Browns added a pick in the sixth round, but it’s still capital they can use to still make moves.
