A Blue Ash man is facing felony charges in connection to sexual conduct and privacy violations involving a minor.
Malcolm Williams Jr., 43, was charged June 12 in Hamilton County Municipal Court on felony charges including unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and intercepting wire, oral or electronic communications. He is also charged with a misdemeanor count of voyeurism.
From 2015 to 2019, Williams engaged in sexual conduct with a person who was between the ages of 13 and 17 numerous times on multiple different dates, an affidavit filed in Hamilton County Municipal Court states. Williams was in his mid-thirties at the time.
In 2023, Williams secretly placed hidden cameras throughout an individual’s bedroom, court records said. One camera was disguised as a smoke detector above the individual’s bed in their apartment.
The hidden cameras, accessible through a phone application, allowed the user to view live footage, save and download video, and record conversations. Williams saved videos of the individual in a state of nudity to his phone and over 190 recordings of conversations not including Williams, according to court records.
Court documents do not yet list an attorney for Williams.
Williams was arrested June 12. He’s currently listed as an inmate at the Hamilton County Justice Center. His bond is $56,000, according to the jail website.
A Hamilton County Grand Jury is set to rule on an indictment in the case by June 22.
