On October 10, the Black River FFA Chapter held its fourth annual Chili Tailgate Night during the Brookside football game. As guests entered the stadium, they were invited to stop by the FFA table and enjoy a hot bowl of chili for a donation.
The event served as a fundraiser to help support FFA members attending the Ohio and National FFA conventions, as well as to fund the many community service projects the chapter completes throughout the year.
The Black River FFA would like to extend a sincere thank you to the generous donors who made the evening possible — Sandridge Food Corporation for donating the delicious chili and Wendy’s of Burbank for providing the tableware.
The chapter also thanks everyone who stopped by to enjoy a meal and support the organization. With the help of the community, this year’s Chili Tailgate Night was once again a warm and successful event!
