The recall was just for the one sauce, which was sold in only one location in Zanesville between May 14 and July 29, the Allstar Philly Subs at 2574 Maple Ave.

No illnesses have been reported. However, individuals with an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy may face a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the affected product, the DOA stated.

Anyone experiencing symptoms of an allergic reaction should contact a physician immediately, it continued.

Customers who purchased the Hot Chocolate Jalapeno Hot Sauce should discard it immediately or return it to Allstar Philly Subs and contact BillyC’s Hot Sauce for a refund.
