While Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow made headlines in New York, wideout Tee Higgins was slamming home dunks in a basketball game.
Higgins was a focal point of the Oak Ridge High School celebrity basketball game on June 20.
With Tennessee point guard Bobby Maze at the forefront, Higgins starred in a game that featured 120-plus points for each team.
“It’s amazing. Tee played for me when he was younger,” Maze said, according to Allexus Killian of the Knoxville News Sentinel. “So, now seeing him come back and give back to his community, that’s one of the best things, and I think he’s done it over and over in a big way.”

Per Killian, Higgins hit multiple shots from deep and at least one major slam dunk during the game, a two-point loss for his team.
Higgins was a dual-sport athlete who graduated in 2017 and is in the Oak Ridge High School Sports Hall of Fame and had major Division 1 basketball scholarship offers before going the football route.
