The Cincinnati Bengals are back on the joint practice circuit this year thanks to a date with the Chicago Bears.
This week, the Bengals confirmed the date of the linkup with the Bears as a Thursday, August 20 session that will be closed to the public.
That’s a targeted date before the Bengals and Bears meet in a Week 2 preseason matchup on Saturday, August 22 in Cincinnati.
This is a redo chance for both clubs, as they met for a joint practice in 2024 and the Bengals suffered multiple season-ending injuries in a rainy affair.
While the Bengals have been so-so about the idea of more joint sessions, the friendship between Bengals head coach Zac Taylor and Bears head coach Ben Johnson played a role in the two teams linking up again.
