Bengals add two quarterbacks to practice squad following Joe Burrow’s injury

The Cincinnati Bengals are adding two quarterbacks following Joe Burrow’s toe injury that is expected to sideline him for three months. Jake Browning remains the Bengals’ starting quarterback.

Sean Clifford and Mike White are signing with the Bengals and will start on the practice squad, according to multiple reports.

Clifford, 27, most recently spent time with the Green Bay Packers, is a St. Xavier alum. He was a fifth-round draft pick by Green Bay in the 2023 NFL draft.

White, 30, is now joining his fifth team in the NFL. A fifth-round pick in 2018 by the Dallas Cowboys, White went on to play for the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills.

Brett Rypien, White and Clifford will compete for Cincinnati’s No. 2 quarterback job.
