Analyst keeping tabs on Browns' WR battle in the preseason

The Browns have the quarterback battle going on in camp at the moment, but it isn’t the only one. Their battle to sort out the wide receivers is not being forgotten about in Berea, but nationally it has been overlooked. That was until one analyst gave it a much-deserved spotlight.

CBS Sports’ Jordan Dajani laid out several under-the-radar camp battles ongoing as we get closer to the regular season. Of the five he ranked, the Browns’ wide receiver battle was placed second in terms of needing the attention of people.

He wrote, “The Cleveland Browns have some young talent at the wide receiver position, including two top 40 picks and a forgotten second-year speedster that could surprise some people. General manager Andrew Berry has probably been the best drafter in the NFL over the past few years. Did he find another star this offseason?”

The team has some talent in veterans such as Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman. However, the arrival of rookies like KC Concpecion and Denzel Boston has brought some new challenges for them and for Todd Monken to use them. It is a good problem to have, and it will give whoever the quarterback is a deep war chest of options.
