Alliance Elks Lodge 467 has announced its September Teenagers of the Month. Students are selected by their respective schools based on scholarship, leadership, character, citizenship and service to school and community.
Alliance
Kadence Adkins – The daughter of Stacie Adkins, she plays soccer and was on the tennis team for one year and softball team for two years. She is president of National Honor Society; and a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Key Club, Student Senate, Class Council, Academic Challenge, Choralaires, Reppin-that-A and a class officer. She plans to attend a Christian university to study math and Spanish.
Cole Pasco – The son of Faith and Brian Pasco, he has played soccer for four years and baseball for three. He is a member of National Honor Society, Class Council and in Sports Medicine Career Tech. Cole plans to attend University of Mount Union to study physical therapy.
Louisville
Anna Sirohman – The daughter of Mary Jo Sirohman and Mike Sirohman, she plays softball and is a member of National Honor Society, Spirit Club, Key Club, Sources of Strength, Leopard Mentors and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She plans to attend Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she plans to play softball.
Gianni Faiello – The son of Sarah Faiello and Derek Faiello, he runs track and cross country, and is treasurer of Student Council, and a member of Key Club, Sources of Strength and Spanish Club. He hopes to attend the U.S. Naval Academy, where he plans to study aeronautical engineering.
Marlington
Quinn Cernansky – The daughter of Ryan and Kim Cernansky, she runs cross country and track, plays soccer and is a cheerleader. She is in National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Student Council, Character Counts, Drama Dukes, FCA and Sources of Strength. She was a Buckeye Girls State delegate. She plans to study business in college, and continue her athletic career.
Kaden Tucker – The son of Julie Ryan and Jason Tucker, he is president of the National Honor Society, vice president of Character Counts, and in Tri-M Music Honor Society. He is the class treasurer. Tucker is yearbook business manager, Drama Dukes backstage manager, and member of Marlington Chorale. He hasn’t selected a college, but plans to study business/marketing or education.
Minerva
Rachel Weaver – The daughter of Amy Weaver, she is in the band and on the wrestling and softball teams. She played basketball and volleyball for two years, is president of National Honor Society, and a member of Student Council, SADD, Euchre Club and Little Lion/Big Lion mentorship. She was a Buckeye Girls State delegate and plans to attend college to major in integrated mathematics while also pursuing a two-year degree in exercise science or coaching while playing softball. Weaver hopes to teach high school math and coach softball.
Julian Elliott – The son of Jessica and Joshua Elliott, he is in marching and jazz bands, and runs cross country. He is vice president of National Honor Society, Student Council, Minerva Drama Club, Lion News Network, Debate Club, and International Circle. He plans to enlist in the National Guard and sign up for advanced job training and then attend a tech school.
Sebring McKinley
Alayna Braham – The daughter of Jennifer Jordan, she is in marching band, National Honor Society, Academic Challenge, SADD, Scarpitti Program and is a volunteer in Big Brothers Big Sisters. She has been class president for four years and is editor of the yearbook. Braham plans to attend Kent State University at Salem to become a registered nurse.
Brandon Bahler – The son of Christi Fotheringham and Jacob Bahler, he is captain of the football team and played baseball for one year. He is a member of Ecology Club and plans to become an electric lineman.
St. Thomas
Kate Tabellion – The daughter of John and Amanda Tabellion, she was a member of the golf team for one year, junior class president and a two-year member of Key Club. She is vice president of the National Honor Society, Academic Challenge and Student Council.
Rylan Sullivan – The son of Bryce and Michele Sullivan, he was on the track and golf teams, and is a member of Academic Challenge, Key Club and Stage Crew. He plans to attend college to study medicine.
