The Ohio Cardinal Conference has announced its postseason baseball honors for the 2026 season.
Lexington’s Tyler Galownia and Cole Eichorn were first team selections for the Minutemen. Galownia hit .338 with 23 hits, five doubles, a home run, 15 RBIS and 30 runs scored while going 7-2 on the mound with a 1.41 earned run average and 57 strikeouts in 44 ⅔ innings pitched. Eichorn hit .364 with 28 hits, eight doubles, a triple, 22 RBIs and 18 runs scored while also going 3-2 on the mound with a 1.52 ERA and 23 strikeouts in 27 ⅔ innings of work.
Madison’s Liam Stone earned first team honors after hitting .368 with 28 hits, five doubles, 11 RBIs and 14 runs scored while also going 6-3 on the mound with a 3.47 ERA and 40 strikeouts in 42 ⅓ innings of work. He also had a save.
Ashland’s Ethan Haag also earned first team honors for the Arrows. He hit .392 with 20 hits, two doubles, 17 RBIs and 20 runs scored.
Madison’s Ashton Taylor and Kylor Steagall were second team selections joining Lexington’s Markale Martin and Ashland’s Eva DaHinden and Tanner Wolfe.
Madison’s Aiden Proctor and Carson Cook, Ashland’s Jacob Bryant and Nick Manges, Lexington’s Jackson Eichorn and Graham Clark and Mansfield Senior’s Nicholaus Redman and Jaxen Haynes were all honorable mentions.
