‘Together, Here’ honors artists who have shaped Akron Soul Train

“‘Together, Here’ honors the artists who have shaped Akron Soul Train while affirming our continued commitment to creative risk and connection,” Executive Director Colleen Suich said in a statement.

McSweeney’s installation, “Untitled (Jam) pt. 2,” investigates spectatorship, intimacy and participation by having visitors shift from external observer to internal participant. The artist, who earned dual undergraduate degrees in studio art and media studies from the University of Akron in 2024, is currently artist in residence at Summit Artspace.
