The New York Jets enter the 2026 NFL Draft with hopes of improving their roster as will all 32 teams in the league.
The Jets will start that attempt with two selections in Round 1. Those sit at Nos. 2 and 16 overall. However, this will not be the first draft that Gang Green has held those picks.
Who were those last occasions for the Jets?
Here is who the Jets drafted the last time the team held the No. 2 and 16 picks at the NFL draft:
2021: QB Zach Wilson
Wilson only played in New York for three years, not even finishing out his rookie contract with the team. Wilson recorded a 12-21 overall record with the Jets and is now a backup with the New Orleans Saints.
2012: DE Quinton Coples
Coples had the fifth-year option picked up by the Jets but really never flashed in New York. In 62 career games, Coples only made 32 starts and collected 16.5 career sacks.
