Chip City Cookies is opening its first Rockland County location at the Palisades Center in West Nyack on Oct. 10.
To sweeten the news, the first 100 customers will get a free cookie with any purchase. Doors open at 10 a.m.
The new cookie spot, on Level Four, is known for its weekly rotating menu of more than 100 flavors, everything from S’mores and chocolate peanut butter to blueberry cheesecake, lemon berry, and the iconic cannoli. Each batch is baked fresh with the brand’s signature ooey gooey center.
Limited edition varieties on Oct. 10 include the new Chip-O-Mar (oat cereal flavored cookie with a marshmallow filling, decorated with a marshmallow flavored topping, dark chocolate ganache, and graham cracker crumbs) and Banana Pancake Crookie (a flaky croissant stuffed with banana flavored cookie dough, topped with a dusting of powdered sugar and served with a packet of Smucker’s breakfast syrup).
Other choices — available until Oct. 16 — include rainbow cookies, chocolate chip, S’mores, confetti, Cookies N’ Cream, dark chocolate peanut butter, pumpkin coffee crumb cake, white chocolate macadamia and dairy-free horchata.
More are on tap for the following week, and so on.
The brand, now in 50-plus locations throughout the Tri-State, Maryland, Virgina and Florida, was launched in 2017 by childhood friends Peter Phillips and Teddy Gailas in Astoria, Queens.
