A Walmart in northern Westchester’s Mohegan Lake is among more than 20 New York stores the company plans to remodel this year.
The Mohegan Lake location is at 3133 E. Main St., in Yorktown, a news release said.
What to expect at renovated Mohegan Lake Walmart
When work is done, Walmart said among other things customers may see in stores:
“This investment is intended to create jobs, help strengthen local economies, and make shopping faster and more convenient for our customers,” an April 16 Walmart news release said.
Other NY Walmart stores slated for renovations
Another Walmart news release said these are the other New York stores that will be renovated:
“Our stores have long been part of communities across New York, and we’re excited to keep investing in their future,” said Annie Walker, Walmart’s east business unit senior vice president. “By modernizing our stores, we’re making shopping faster, easier, and more convenient, all while empowering our teams to serve customers better and creating local opportunity. We’re proud of our legacy here and look forward to helping families save money, time and live better every day.”
Walmart said it’s been planning remodeling at more than 650 supercenters and neighborhood markets around the country.
