Your vote will determine who will be the Girls Sports Athlete of the Week for June 9-15. The players’ credentials are listed above the poll — which will be live until 8 p.m. Tuesday. The winner will be announced on our Instagram page Wednesday morning.
All athletes who play on Section V girls teams are eligible to be nominated.

Haley Conner
Gananda sophomore won the Class C state 400-meter race in 56.23 seconds, the fastest time among runners in Section V all season.
Karis Hand
Penfield girls lacrosse sophomore goalie totaled 18 saves during state tournament weekend, leading the Patriots to their first NYSPHSAA title.
Paige Harding
Oakfield-Alabama senior won the Class C state pole vault event.
Morgan Livingston
Victor girls lacrosse senior racked up seven goals and four assists over the weekend, as the Blue Devils clinched their fourth straight state title.
Kaylee Oswald
Wellsville senior won the Class C state shot put event. It is the third year in a row that Oswald is a state champion.
Marlee Poole
Bloomfield’s sophomore third baseman helped the Bombers win their first softball state championship. Poole went 2-for-3 with an RBI, worked a walk, and scored a run during Bloomfield’s 11-0 win over Tuckahoe in the NYSPHSAA Class B final.
Caydence Spears
Haverling’s senior catcher led the softball team into its first state championship game. Spears went 3-for-4 with a two-run double and RBI-double in the state semifinals, and singled in the New York state final.
