It’s time to take a look at the standout performers from this past week of the volleyball season.
We’d like you, the reader, to survey our lohud Volleyball Player of the Week, presented by White Plains Hospital, finalists and cast your vote. The athletes’ credentials are listed above the fan poll, which will be open until 3 p.m. Wednesday. The winner will be announced on lohud sports social media on Wednesday. The following nominees are based on play from Oct. 13-Oct. 19.

Winners this season have been Kristen Schmid, Nanuet; Sadie Matt, North Salem; Kelly Mallon, Lakeland; Lindsay Suman, Mamaroneck; Angelina Delgado, Woodlands.
Let’s meet the candidates.
Madison Fulgencio, North Rockland
The senior outside hitter had 28 kills against Horace Greeley, contributed 14 kills against Clarkstown South and had 16 kills against Arlington in the last week.
Phoebe Greto, Rye
The senior middle hitter had nine kills, two digs and two blocks against John Jay-Cross River, added 18 kills and four blocks and achieved seven kills, an ace, two digs and two blocks against Rye Neck.
Megan Meade, Eastchester
The junior libero totaled 68 digs, four assists and four aces in three matches over the last week.
Ella Rosenfeld, Blind Brook
The senior outside hitter had 47 kills, 20 digs and six aces in two victories over the last week. Rosenfeld also achieved her 1,000th career kill.
