Check out the nominees for lohud Softball Player of the Week, presented by White Plains Hospital, and cast your vote. The athletes’ credentials are listed above the fan poll, which will be open until 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 29. The winner will be announced on lohud sports social media on Wednesday.

Let’s meet the candidates.
Haley Albano, Ardsley
The senior was 6-for-8 with a home run, a double, eight RBI, four runs scored and two stolen bases over the last week.
Lainey Donaghy, Haldane
The sophomore was 8-for-10 over three games with a triple, three doubles, three RBI and six runs scored.
Riley Foote, John Jay-Cross River
The junior had a three-run home run against Brewster, a double and two RBI against North Salem and three hits and two RBI against Horace Greeley over the last week.
Penelope Gilmore, Rye
The junior was 6-for-8 with four doubles, four RBI and three runs scored over three games in the last week.
Alenah Gomes, Mahopac
The senior third baseman hit .400 over the last week and according to her coach, also made a diving catch and a throw from her knees to first base for a double play in Mahopac’s win over Carmel.
Cassie Junge, Sleepy Hollow
The senior shortstop was 8-for-12 with four doubles, 10 RBI and four stolen bases over the last week.
Kate Mulqueen, Putnam Valley
The junior pitcher went 2-1 with 22 strikeouts in the last week and was 4-for-7 with three doubles, three RBI and four runs scored.
Ava Papaleo, Ursuline
The senior, over four games last week, was 6-for-10 with two home runs, three doubles, nine RBI and nine runs scored.
Kylie Reardon, Eastchester
The sophomore was 5-for-9 with three home runs, a triple, a double, 10 RBI and three walks over the last week.
Emma Smith, Kennedy Catholic
The senior pitched a pair of complete games in a doubleheader win, striking out nine over 14 innings, allowing two runs. She also had a hit and scored the game’s winning run.
Lauren Zoland, Scarsdale
The junior had two hits and her coach noted she made a catch at the wall against White Plains and threw back into the infield for a double play.
