Utica police investigating armed robbery

Several masked and armed individuals broke into a Utica home and the Utica Police Department is investigating, according to a statement from law enforcement.

At around 1 a.m. on Feb. 14, the Utica Police Department received a call from a house on the 700 block of Jay Street to report a robbery. According to the victim, several individuals wearing masks and dark clothing, armed with handguns, forcibly entered the home.

While inside, they stole various pieces of property, as well as the keys to two vehicles before fleeing.
